It has the infamous 2.4L and it burns a quart of oil every 500 miles or so. This has been going on for some time and I've always been religious about keeping the oil full. The burning oil issue has caused other issues - probable plugged catalytic converter, bad O2 sensor, and cracked exhaust manifold. But, yup, I still drove this bad boy to work and back everyday. It has been stalling sometimes (usually at the end of a trip) when idling at stop signs. I've had to keep one foot on the brake and the other feathering the throttle to keep from stalling lately. It stalled on me the other day and now won't start at all. About every light possible is lit on the dash (has been this way for a while). I pulled the ABS relay years ago because I got sick of it acting up. There are loud clunks in the rear end when hitting bumps or braking hard. There is a brake rotor shudder. There is lots of rust underneath. I smoked a deer 3 years ago as you can see in the pics. The headlights and blinker light still work there. The damage doesn't cause any issues with steering or turning. You might even find some left over deer hair and venison stuck in the cracks. Enjoy. The front passenger door is hard to open all the way with the damage, but it can be done. The rear passenger door on the driver's side does not open (locked but can't unlock). Car has 241,853 hard earned miles and the character to go with. Has decent tires and a clean title. Probably is a parts car at this point. Would need to be trailered.CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START.
